Daily Poem Project

I met my friend Alex Beeken at a folk music singing camp in the Sierra Mountains, in 2005. He was sixteen. We saw and sang each other off and on until, in late August 2013, we started a daily poem correspondence--vowing to e-mail each other daily in order to counteract the creative numbness that came from having no one to share with. He's been my faithful companion in poetry since then.
